Copyright Protection Policy
LostLifeVault.com respects the rights of content creators and copyright holders. We follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to handle copyright concerns fairly and quickly.
What is DMCA?
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act is a U.S. law that protects copyright owners. It gives website owners like us a clear process to remove content when someone’s copyright gets violated.
Found Your Content Here Without Permission?
If you see your work on our website and we don’t have your permission to use it you can report it to us. We’ll review your claim and take action fast.
What to Send Us:
- Sign Your Notice – You can sign it by hand or electronically. If someone else owns the copyright they need to authorize you in writing.
- Tell Us About Your Work – Describe what you created. Include registration numbers if you have them from the Copyright Office.
- Show Us Where It Is – Give us the exact web address (URL) where you found your content on our site. The more specific you are, the faster we can find it.
- How to Reach You – We need your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- Make This Statement – Say that you honestly believe we’re using your work without permission from you, your agent, or the law.
- Confirm the Facts – State under penalty of perjury that everything you told us is true and you have the right to act for the copyright owner.

Think We Made a Mistake?
Sometimes content gets removed by accident or wrong identification. If that happened to you, send us a counter-notice with this information:
- Your signature (electronic or physical)
- Describe the content we removed and tell us where it was before
- Swear under penalty of perjury that we removed it by mistake or got it wrong
- Give us your name, address, and phone number. Also say you agree to go to federal court in your area if needed (or anywhere we operate if you’re outside the United States)
- Agree to accept legal papers from whoever complained about your content
What Happens Next
After you send us a copyright notice:
- We check if you included everything required
- We look at the content you reported
- We remove or block access to it (usually within 2-3 business days)
- We tell the person who posted it
- We keep records of the complaint
- We follow federal law for any counter-notices
Users Who Break the Rules Repeatedly
We keep track of copyright violations. If someone keeps posting content that breaks copyright law, we’ll close their account. This can happen without warning.
Don’t Make False Reports
Here’s something serious: lying in a copyright report is against federal law. If you knowingly send us false information about copyright violations, you could face lawsuits. The person you accused might sue you for damages, court costs, and lawyer fees.
Only send us a complaint if you really own the copyright or represent someone who does.
